Apart from running one of the world’s largest technology firms, Sundar Pichai has a knack for making the internet smile. This Diwali, the Alphabet and Google CEO brightened up Instagram with a wonderful post that blended tradition, humor, and a dash of Google magic, quite literally.
Google Barfi: What is it?
The post contains a plate of barfi in vibrant red, yellow, green, and blue shades, beautifully laid out to create the Google logo. Well, the festive imagination was bang on. Around the sweet work of art were colorful rangoli designs, fresh flowers, diyas, and a plate of ladoos.
With the photo, Pichai signed, “Clearly this is how we serve the barfi in my home.” He added, “Wishing everyone a Happy Diwali with light, joy, and your favorite festival treats (Google-inspired or otherwise!)”

The Internet Sweet Response
One of them had the kindest note for Sundar Pichai as he penned, “Happy Diwali, Sundar. I have been inspired by you ever since class 8th. I wanted to work with you and learn a lot of things by becoming an IITian and reaching LA.
But God has other plans. I still have a dream that one day I will surely meet you and have a coffee with you, either in India or LA. Thank you.”
Sundar Pichai Diwali Post
This is not the first time that Pichai has spent his festive season online. Even last year, he had put out a hearty greeting: “Diwali is one of my favorite times of the year… always fun to fill the house with light.
Wish those who celebrate a Happy Diwali!” He had also put up a picture of a lamp carrying the Google logo, evidence that even in celebration, his inventive tech personality never gets dull.
