The new Chief Secretary of the Andhra Pradesh State Government has been appointed as IAS officer KS Jawahar Reddy.
Meanwhile, the state government issues orders that with immediate effect Reddy will take charge on Tuesday.
Moreover, on 1 December 2022 Reddy will take charge as the new Chief Secretary and will replace chief secretary Sameer Sharma.
Currently, Sameer Sharma is the chief secretary and will retire on 30 November 2022. Reddy is currently working as Special Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister.
However, Reddy will work as Chief Secretary till 30 June 2024. All the affairs of the CMO are currently under Special Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister’s supervision.
