Srijan scam: CBI arrests accused Rajni Priya; husband Amit Kumar died in CBI custody

CBI has arrested Rajni Priya, daughter-in-law of Srijan’s kingpin Manorama Devi in 2017 Srijan scam case in Bhagalpur, Bihar of about two thousand crores. CBI has arrested Rajni Priya from Sahibabad in Ghaziabad.

At the same time, it is also being told that Amit Kumar, husband of Rajni Priya, the main accused in the case, has died, according to sources. The CBI had pasted advertisements several times at the house of Rajni Priya, the mistress of crores, while it has also confiscated many of her lands.

ED had also attached many properties. At the same time, the CBI had declared Amit and Rajnipriya as absconders. A reward was also announced for those who would give their address because Rajni Priya and Amit are the main accused with whom many important evidence related to the case can be found and many white collars can also be exposed.

Rajni Priya is another the main accused in the Srijan scam, to find whom the CBI had worked hard. After years, the CBI has got a big success. After the demise of Srijan scam mastermind Manorama Devi, the court had given notice on the property of her accused son Amit Kumar and daughter-in-law Rajni Priya on January 10, 2023 and also in June 2023. Significantly, both Amit Kumar and Rajni Priya had to appear in the court.

But for not appearing in the court, the CBI pasted notices on his three houses in New Vikramshila Colony, Tilkamanjhi, his old residence. The CBI started investigating the Srijan scam on August 25, 2017, in which many bank officials and clerks are still behind bars. In this scam, the scam of about two thousand crore rupees came to the fore.
