SP declares candidates for Rajasthan, MP polls

While on one hand there are discussions regarding the I.N.D.I.A. alliance between Congress and Samajwadi Party to fight together in the Lok Sabha elections, on the other hand, Samajwadi Party is continuously involved in political activities for the assembly elections to be held in many states. Due to this, the Congress Party seems to be suffering loss. While earlier the Samajwadi Party had made its intentions clear by announcing the candidates in Madhya Pradesh, after this they also announced the candidates in Rajasthan.
After this announcement of the Samajwadi Party, political activities have also intensified in the state regarding the Rajasthan Assembly elections. The role of BSP and Samajwadi Party is also considered very important in the main contest between BJP and Congress in the state. This time, SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav has announced to field candidates in Rajasthan assembly elections apart from Madhya Pradesh. There are a total of 200 seats in it. In which the Samajwadi Party has approved the name of its candidate on one seat. According to a post on their official social media handle X, SP has made former MLA Surajbhan Dhanka the candidate from the Rajgarh-Laxmangarh Assembly. Earlier, in 2008, Surajbhan Dhanka had reached the assembly by getting elected from the Rajgarh-Laxmangarh seat on the Samajwadi Party ticket. He was defeated by the BJP candidate in the 2013 elections.
After the Ghosi by-election in Uttar Pradesh, it is seen that tensions have increased between the Samajwadi Party and the Congress. In the coming times, elections are to be held in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. In which the main contest will be between the BJP and Congress. In such a situation, the Samajwadi Party is taking special interest in these states. The argument behind this is that the Samajwadi Party is trying to make itself a national party. At the same time, political experts are also seeing it as politics of pressure because Akhilesh Yadav has already made it clear regarding Uttar Pradesh that the Samajwadi Party is not demanding seats from anyone here but is giving seats.
