This time, SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav has announced to field candidates in Rajasthan assembly elections apart from Madhya Pradesh. There are a total of 200 seats in it. In which the Samajwadi Party has approved the name of its candidate on one seat. According to a post on their official social media handle X, SP has made former MLA Surajbhan Dhanka the candidate from the Rajgarh-Laxmangarh Assembly. Earlier, in 2008, Surajbhan Dhanka had reached the assembly by getting elected from the Rajgarh-Laxmangarh seat on the Samajwadi Party ticket. He was defeated by the BJP candidate in the 2013 elections.
After the Ghosi by-election in Uttar Pradesh, it is seen that tensions have increased between the Samajwadi Party and the Congress.
