The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced the advancement of the Southwest Monsoon into various regions. According to the latest reports, the monsoon has made significant progress, reaching the remaining parts of the northeast Bay of Bengal and some areas of the northwest Bay of Bengal.

Moreover, the monsoon has also extended its reach to cover the remaining parts of Tripura, Meghalaya, and Assam, marking its presence felt across these northeastern states. Additionally, most parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim have also experienced the onset of the monsoon season.
