Sitting Dadra and Nagar Haveli MP Kalaben may join BJP

BJP has already announced the first list of its candidates. In the first list, some leaders have been denied tickets while others have been repeated. Now the second list of candidates is being eagerly awaited.
Therefore, there is a lot of speculation about who could be the BJP candidate from Dadra and Nagar Haveli constituency, which is adjacent to Gujarat. It is being speculated that the current MP Kalaben Delkar may join BJP after leaving Shiv Sena (UBT) Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray.

Kalaben Delkar is widow of late Mohanbhai Delkar, the former MP from this seat. After Mohanbhai‘s death, Kalaben Delkar joined Shiv Sena and won the 2021 by-election, with the margin of fifty one thousand votes and became the first MP of Shiv Sena to win the Parliamentary seat outside Maharashtra.
Dadra and Nagar Haveli Parliamentary Constituency being part of Union Territory, the central leadership of the party keeps a direct watch.
Possibility of sitting MP Kalaben Delkar joining BJP is the talk of the town here. It is interesting to note that Kalaben along with her son, Abhinav and daughter met the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
