On Friday, April 19, voting for the Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim Assembly Elections 2024 coincided with the first phase of the Lok Sabha Elections. The elections for all 60 Assembly seats in Arunachal Pradesh and 32 Assembly seats in Sikkim are being conducted in a single phase on this day. The outcomes of the Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim Assembly polls are scheduled to be announced on June 2. The results of these state Assembly elections will determine the next chief minister of these two northeastern states.
The voter turnout for the two states was recorded at 11 am.
