The long-awaited construction of the Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya has been officially completed. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust announced that all major construction work, including the main temple and subsidiary shrines, is now finished. This marks a historic moment for millions of devotees across India and abroad, who have awaited this day for decades.

All Temple Structures Completed

The Trust, in its official statement, said, “It is with great joy that we inform all devotees of Prabhu Shri Ramlalla Sarkar that all Mandir construction work has been completed.” The completion covers not just the main sanctum but also six smaller temples within the complex.

These temples are dedicated to Lord Mahadev, Lord Ganesh, Hanuman Ji, Suryadev, Maa Bhagwati, and Maa Annapurna. The Sheshavatar Mandir has also been completed. According to the Trust, flags and kalash (pinnacles) have been installed atop all these temples, completing the architectural ensemble.

Seven Mandapas and Statues Installed

The Trust also announced the completion of seven beautifully designed mandapas (pavilions). These honor key figures from the Ramayana such as Rishi Valmiki, Rishi Vashishtha, Rishi Vishwamitra, Rishi Agastya, Nishadraj, Shabari, and Devi Ahilya.

Additionally, the Sant Tulsidas Mandir has been completed. Statues of Jatayu and the sacred squirrel — both symbolic figures from the Ramayana — have been installed in the temple precincts, enhancing the spiritual atmosphere of the Mandir complex.

Devotee Facilities and Infrastructure Ready

To ensure smooth access for devotees, all works related to facilities, lighting, and pathways have been completed. The Trust confirmed that Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has successfully completed road construction and stone flooring across the temple grounds.

Meanwhile, GMR Group is handling the landscaping and development of the 10-acre Panchvati area, which is progressing swiftly. The entire space has been designed to balance traditional architecture with modern infrastructure.

Minor Works in Progress

While the main Mandir and devotee areas are fully ready, the Trust clarified that only minor works remain. These include the 3.5-kilometer boundary wall, the Trust office, a guest house, and an auditorium — all of which are not directly connected to public access.

With this, the Shri Ram Mandir stands complete, awaiting the next phase of preparations for its formal consecration and grand opening ceremony.

A Symbol of Faith and Unity

The completion of the Ram Mandir construction represents not only the fulfillment of a centuries-old spiritual dream but also a new chapter in Ayodhya’s history. For millions of devotees, it is a moment of deep faith, cultural pride, and devotion. The final completion moves the sacred city one step closer to the formal inauguration of the grand temple dedicated to Lord Ram.
