Security guards deployed in Poonch as part of a large-scale counterterrorism operation

After terrorists killed four army soldiers on Thursday, security personnel were sent to the Poonch district’s Bafliaz area. Meanwhile, a search and rescue operation was launched to apprehend terrorists in the Dera ki Gali forest area in the Rajouri sector.

It is still early in the search process. There are between 25–30 Pakistani terrorists thought to be hidden in the region’s forests, and Pakistan is attempting to resurrect terrorism in the Rajouri–Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir, according to defence officials on Friday.

According to the sources, Pakistan and China have a larger scheme in place to put pressure on the Indian Army to withdraw its troops from the Ladakh sector and redeploy them elsewhere in the region, including reviving terrorist activities in the area.

“There is a larger game plan by the Pakistan-China nexus to not allow India to ease out of the Jammu and Kashmir sector and deploy troops on the China border, especially in the Ladakh sector, where the PLA and Indian forces have been in a standoff for the last three years now,” they stated.
