Security Forces Kill Three Naxals in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur District

On Sunday, security forces killed at least three Naxalites in an encounter in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district. Bijapur Police confirmed the deaths and reported the recovery of automatic weapons, explosives, and other materials from the forests near the National Park.

Search Operation Ongoing

The operation followed intelligence about Maoist activity in the forested region. Security forces launched an anti-Maoist operation. They are currently searching the area and identifying the deceased Naxalites. The Bijapur Police will release more details after the operation ends.

IED Explosion Injures CRPF Jawan

On Saturday, a CRPF jawan was injured in an IED explosion set by Naxalites in Bijapur district. The explosion occurred during an area domination mission by the 196 Battalion from Mahadev Ghat. The injured jawan was treated at the District Hospital in Bijapur.

Recent Naxal Encounters in Chhattisgarh

Earlier, on Thursday, three Naxals were killed in an encounter near the Sukma-Bijapur border. Weapons were also recovered from the site. The search operation continues.

On Monday, eight jawans from the District Reserve Guards (DRG) and a civilian driver were killed in an IED blast triggered by Naxalites in Bijapur.
