Comedian Samay Raina has been in the limelight after YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia made a controversial sex with parents comment on his show, *Indias Got Latent.* Both Samay and Ranveer are embroiled in legal trouble regarding the statement, and in the midst of the current controversy, Samay has now posted a mysterious post on social media.

Samay Rainamost recent post, accessible only to his YouTube channels private subscribers, was a red heart and a hug emoji—apparently urging love and peace in the midst of the turmoil. As of publication, the post had already garnered more than 7,000 likes from the audience.

For those who do not know, Ranveer Allahabadia, whose popular BeerBiceps YouTube channel has a large followinghit the headlines following his appearance on Indias Got Latent last month. While performing on the show, he raised a sensitive question with one young contestant: Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever? The statement received extensive backlash, and the statement was found to be outrageous by many. Following intervention by the I&B Ministry and the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), the video was taken down from YouTube.

Subsequently, Samay responded to the controversy on X, saying, “All that is happening has been too much for me to cope with. I have taken down all Indias Got Latent videos from my channel. My sole intention was to entertain people and enjoy themselves. I will cooperate with all agencies in full so that their questions are completed fairly. Thank you.”

Alsowhile performing live recently in Canada, Samay gave an emotional take on the issueConcluding his performance, he said, Shayad samay kharab chal raha hai mera, par yaad rakhna doston, main samay hoon (Maybe my time is bad right now, but remember, my friends—I am time itself).”
