The screenshot of Parag’s search history quickly went viral, with social media users noting two specific entries related to Bollywood actors: “Ananya Panday hot” and “Sara Ali Khan hot”.

While some corners of the internet criticized Parag’s search history, calling for him to be “ashamed,” others found the incident amusing.

Riyan Parag is not only a professional cricketer but also an avid gamer, often sharing his gaming sessions with his 65,000 subscribers on YouTube. He’s faced criticism on social media before, particularly for his responses to critics.

In IPL 2024, representing RR, Parag achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the highest run-scorer in a single season at the number four position, surpassing Rishabh Pant’s previous record of 547 runs in 2018. This made him the first player to score over 550 runs from this batting position in a single IPL season. Initially uncertain about his role in the team, he was promoted to number four and maintained this position throughout the season under Sanju Samson’s captaincy.

This strategic decision paid off as Parag finished as RR’s top scorer in IPL 2024, scoring 567 runs in 13 innings with an impressive average of 56.70 and a strike rate of 151.60.
