India gained its independence on 15 August 1947. Ambedkar. It presented its final draft to the nation on November 4, 1948.
This momentous day was celebrated by the nation on 26 January 1950, when the Indian National Flag was unfurled by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India, with a 21-gun salute.
