After a bathroom fall, Minister Ramdas Soren sustained a serious brain injury. He was moved from Jamshedpur to Delhi for urgent treatment amid critical health concerns.
Education Minister of Jharkhand, Ramdas Soren met with an accident as slipped in his bathroom at his home and sustained a serious brain injury on August 2, 2025. He was instantly taken to a hospital in Jamshedpur for primary treatment.
The Doctors at the hospital detected a blood clot in his brain that required urgent medical intervention. Following the diagnosis, authorities arranged to shift Mr. Soren to Delhi for advanced care.
State Health Minister Irfan Ansari confirmed the incident, noting that Soren's health has deteriorated after he fell in the bathroom, which resulted in a brain injury.
Mr. Ansari added that the state government is taking all necessary measures to ensure proper medical support. He said, “We are preparing to airlift him to Delhi. I am constantly in touch and monitoring his condition,” he said.
With Soren's crucial role in the Jharkhand cabinet, the incident raied concerns. As the situation remains critical, further updates on his condition are awaited by both state officials and the public.
