Defence Minister Rajnath Singh tore into Pakistan's Army Chief Asim Munir on Friday. He warned Pakistan against underestimating India's strength, especially after Operation Sindoor. He stated that New Delhi has already proven to be very firm in handling security challenges.

Speaking at the Economic Times World Leaders’ Forum, Singh indirectly slammed Asim Munir on his recent 'nuclear threats' and analogy to compare Pakistan to a 'dump truck' and India to a 'Mercedes'. He asserted that the comments themselves show that he has a 'predator mentality' and an admission of Pakistan's failures.

“The Pakistan Army chief, knowingly or unknowingly, has pointed towards a predatory mentality (kabilai aur looteri mansikta) that Pakistan has been a victim of since its inception,” Singh said. He added: “We must ensure that along with India's prosperity, our fighting spirit for our defense capability and national honour remains equally strong. Operation Sindoor has already shown our resolve. We will not allow any illusion about India's strength to take root in Pakistan's mind,” Rajnath Singh said.

Singh also underlined that Munir's compression of India and Pakistan is a clear and direct assertion of Pakistan's failure. If two countries gained independence together and one built an economy like a sports car with hard work, right policies and vision, while the other remained stuck in failure, it is their own doing. This is not a joke, it is a confession,” he said.
