On Monday, three trucks carrying food items were sent for the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj by Moti Dungri Ganesh Temple, Khatu Shyam Ji Temple, and Salasar Balaji Temple. These temple trusts sent 200 barrels of oil, 50 barrels of desi ghee, 10 tonnes of flour, and five tonnes of pulses. The food supplies were flagged off by Devasthan Department Minister Joraram Kumawat.
Purna Mahakumbh Set To Begin On January 13
The Purna Mahakumbh will take place in Prayagraj from January 13 to January 26, with approximately 30 lakh devotees expected from Rajasthan. The Rajasthan government, along with several major temple trusts, has stepped forward to assist in the arrangements. The food items will be distributed to the devotees arriving for the event from Jaipur.
Special Camp For Devotees
The Rajasthan government is setting up a special camp at the Prayagraj Mahakumbh to ensure that devotees from Rajasthan have all the necessary facilities during their visit. The Devasthan Department, along with other state departments, is working diligently to make sure that no devotee faces any difficulties during the event.
Mahakumbh Celebrated As An Important Sanatan Dharma Event
Mahant Kailash Sharma of the Moti Dungri Ganesh Temple stated that the Mahakumbh is an important festival for followers of Sanatan Dharma. Approximately 30 lakh people from Rajasthan are expected to participate in the event.
Salasar Balaji Mahant Mangilal Pujari also expressed that the food items being sent are in the form of Prasad from Moti Dungri Ganesh Temple, Salasar Balaji Temple, and Khatu Shyam Ji Temple. He added that when the saints and devotees at the Mahakumbh accept this Prasad, it will be a moment of immense fortune for the Pujari family, marking a significant and blessed occasion.
