A rescue operation is currently underway to save a 3.5-year-old girl who fell into a borewell in Kiratpur village, Kotputli, Rajasthan. Authorities, including teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and local administration, are working tirelessly to ensure her safe recovery.
Sub Division Magistrate (SDM) Brajesh Choudhary reported significant progress in the operation, noting that NDRF teams are attempting to pull the girl out of the borewell. He confirmed that the girl’s condition remains stable, and a ring has been placed below her in hopes of pulling her out soon.
However, SDRF Sub-Inspector Ravi Kumar mentioned that compacted soil around the girl, due to moisture, is making the digging process difficult. Despite this, the teams are persevering, though the exact timeline for the rescue remains uncertain.
Local authorities have cordoned off the area, and specialized equipment is being used to ensure a safe and successful rescue. This operation follows a similar tragedy earlier in December this year , when a 5-year-old boy tragically died after being trapped in a 150-foot borewell for three days.
