Rajasthan CM Spreads Diwali Cheer in Jaipur’s Sanganer Market

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma visited Jaipur’s vibrant Sanganer market on Wednesday. He extended Diwali greetings to the public and shared warm wishes with everyone around. During his walk through the market, he blessed several children who had gathered to see him. Locals welcomed CM Sharma with respect, offering him sweets and responding with cheerful smiles.

Heightened Security Across Jaipur for Diwali Festivities

In response to Diwali celebrations, Jaipur Police are on high alert, prioritizing both public safety and smooth traffic flow. The city has seen increased police deployment, especially in crowded market areas.

Quick Response Team (QRT) and Enhanced Surveillance

Jaipur Police have stationed a Quick Response Team (QRT) in key areas to provide swift support if needed. Officers will patrol these busy market spaces, ensuring visible security presence. Additionally, the Abhay Command and Control Centre at the Jaipur Police Commissionerate has activated CCTV surveillance, covering all corners of the city to enhance monitoring.

Commissioner Joseph Addresses Public Safety Concerns

Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph highlighted the dual responsibility his team faces this festive season. “An additional police force has been deployed to secure the city and maintain traffic order,” he said. Commissioner Joseph also extended his own Diwali wishes, adding, “Police personnel have been deployed to ensure public safety. CCTV cameras have been installed to monitor security arrangements, and we urge everyone to cooperate with the police.”

Traffic Restrictions and Market Safety Measures

Traffic police have implemented strict measures to manage crowd congestion in the markets. Heavy vehicles are restricted from entering the Parkota area. “Given the high footfall in Parkota, over 6,000 police officers and Home Guard jawans have been deployed across Jaipur,” Commissioner Joseph stated. Security precautions will continue in Parkota and popular markets, such as Mansarovar, Vaishali Nagar, and Malviya Nagar, until Bhai Dooj. Additionally, parking within these markets is restricted to single lanes only to facilitate better traffic flow.
