Raipur is growing rapidly as a modern city. But along with development, illegal activities like nude parties, techno parties, animal parties, and stranger pool parties have increased. These events target the youth and push them into drugs and obscenity. Police investigations reveal that such parties earn crores of rupees and involve many influential people.

How the ‘Nude Parties’ Work

Event organizers and hotel owners earn up to ₹2 crore from a single party. Alcohol and drugs like MDMA, heroin, and cannabis are openly supplied. The trend of such parties has been rising in Raipur for the last seven years.

Arrest and Interrogation

Recently, police arrested Adarsh Agrawal from Madhya Pradesh. Crime Branch officers interrogated him for two days before sending him to jail. During questioning, Adarsh revealed several names involved in nude parties. He also admitted that his own relative, now absconding, helped organize these events. Police are searching for him.

Secret Nature of the Parties

Sources said Adarsh told police that these parties were highly secretive. Organizers first verified the details of participants. They charged entry fees, which ranged from ₹5,000 to ₹1 lakh depending on facilities. Once the participant list was full, the venue was decided. Police believe once Adarsh’s associate is caught, more secrets about the network will come out.

Past Incidents of Drug Parties

This is not the first time Raipur has been in the news for such parties. In 2020, police exposed a major drug network. Over 15 youngsters were arrested. Investigations revealed that drug users were organizing “animal parties” at that time. Several groups still exist today and continue to hold such secret parties.

Huge Profits from One Party

The business of nude and techno parties is extremely profitable. Organizers make crores in a single event. To maximize profits, they attract as many young men and women as possible. Entry fees vary depending on the scale of the party and the luxuries offered.

Search for the Mastermind

Police believe Adarsh’s relative is the mastermind behind the current case. Adarsh’s phone contained promotional material for nude parties. He was also using Instagram to advertise upcoming events. Raipur SSP Dr. Lal Umed Singh said, “Another suspect in the nude party case is absconding.

He is being searched for. The case will be solved once he is apprehended. Police are currently investigating the matter seriously.”

Role of Social Media

Social media plays a major role in promoting these secret parties. Organizers use Instagram handles to attract youth. Despite this, the police’s social media monitoring cell has failed to block such activities. Recently, promotions for stranger pool parties and nude events were openly visible on Instagram.

One such event at TeliBandha’s Hyper Club caused public outrage, with many organizations raising objections.

30 Participants Booked, No Arrests

According to police sources, one nude party already had 30 confirmed entries. Entry fees were between ₹5,000 and ₹1 lakh. The event was planned at a luxury hotel in Mandirhasaud. Ajay Mahapatra was identified as the main organizer of this party.

Police questioned four people connected to the case, but later released them. Reports suggest that several influential people were involved. The date of the party was not fixed before the police intervened.
