Rahul Gandhi’s Call for Unity echoes ahead of 2024 Haryana Polls

In a crucial meeting held at the Congress Headquarters in New Delhi, Rahul Gandhi, a prominent leader of the Indian National Congress, addressed the issue of factionalism among Haryana Congress leaders. The meeting, chaired by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, focused on preparations for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
During the meeting, Rahul Gandhi underscored the significance of unity and ground-level efforts in achieving victory. He emphasized that over-confidence should be avoided and victory would only be attainable through concerted hard work. He sternly warned against indulging in anti-party activities and urged leaders to remain vigilant.
Deepak Babaria, responsible for Haryana affairs, was called upon to set an example of discipline within the Haryana Congress, intending to teach a lesson to those who engage in indiscipline. Rahul Gandhi asserted that internal disagreements should be addressed within the party platform and not through media outlets, threatening strict action against those who violate this directive.
With an eye on electoral success, Rahul Gandhi stressed the need for cohesion across all sections of society, highlighting that no particular class should be favored. He expressed that winning the election requires not only unity among leaders but also across all sections of the population.
