Rahul Gandhi to visit USA on May 31 for 10 days

Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress and a former member of parliament from Wayanad, is scheduled to travel to the USA starting on May 31 and would stay for ten days, according to reports. According to the reports, Rahul Gandhi will host a rally of about 5,000 NRIs on June 4 in Madison Square Garden in New York. A panel discussion and address at Stanford University are among his other travel plans, which also take him to Washington and California.Additionally, he will meet businesspeople and legislators.

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, will go to the United States on a state visit on June 22. According to a news release from the MEA last week, US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will host PM Modi for a state banquet at the White House during his visit.Rahul Gandhi dominated the headlines as he returned from London after giving speeches at Cambridge University, critical of the government and throwing light on Indian democracy.

In March 2023, Rahul Gandhi delivered a speech at Cambridge University, at a convention organized by the Association of Journalists in London and finally during an in-conversation session at the Chatham House think tank in London.

“Everybody knows and it’s been in the news a lot that Indian democracy is under pressure and under attack. I am an Opposition leader in India, we are navigating that (Opposition) space,” Rahul Gandhi said at Cambridge University in the UK.
