“Rahul Gandhi Runs Away In Times Of Crisis,” Says UP CM Yogi

Addressing a public rally in Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Monday launched a scathing attack against Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party, saying that they are responsible for the terrorism, naxalism, corruption, and anarchy in the country.

“Whenever there is any crisis in the country, Rahul Gandhi’s name comes first among those who run away from the country,” says the Chief Minister.
“Corona was the biggest crisis the country has faced since the last century. Was Rahul Gandhi seen addressing the situation anywhere? Did he come to Chandigarh? He did not even come to Uttar Pradesh,” he added further.

He praised the role played by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in handling the Corona crisis, pointing out that the PM met with MPs and MLAs to discuss the situation. We requested service during the crisis from all party employees.
“We did our best to serve the country during the COVID period,” he continued. As the chief minister, I visited different villages. After arriving in Uttar Pradesh, one crore Pravasi were had to travel to numerous locations in Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and other states. I set everything up for everyone. I managed to arrange for 14,000 busses so that everyone could leave safely.”

Manish Tewari of the Congress and Sanjay Tandon of the BJP will compete in Chandigarh. Kiron Kher was elected as an MP in 2014, and the BJP won the seat again in 2019.
Notably, Punjab will hold a single phase of voting for all 13 of its seats. On June 1, the constituencies of Ludhiana, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Khadoor Sahib, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Nandpur Sahib, Fatehgarh Sahib, Faridkot, Firozpur, Bathinda, Sangrur, and Patiala will vote in the seventh and final phase of the election.
The Lok Sabha elections for the 102 seats dispersed among 21 states this year started on April 19.

This year, the Lok Sabha polls began on April 19 for 102 seats spread across 21 states.
Following this, Phase 2 was held on April 26; the third phase was held on May 7; and the fourth phase was held on May 13. Voting for Phase 6 is underway on Monday for 49 seats, while Phase 6 is set for May 25, covering 7 states for 57 seats.
