Rahul Gandhi calls tribals “Asli malik of India”

Firing a fresh salvo on BJP in Gujarat Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said the BJP party wants tribals to live in forests.

Meanwhile, in Surat, the former Congress president lashed BJP and said the saffron side does not want the tribals to live in the city or don’t want their children to become engineers.

The former Congress president called the tribals “Asli malik (real owner)” of India. “They want you to live in the jungle, but do not stop there. After that, they start taking the jungle from you. If it continues like this, then in another 5-10 years, all the jungles will be in the hands of two-three industrialists, and you will have no place to live, and won’t get an education, health, and jobs,” Rahul Gandhi said.

Nowadays, Congress leaders are on Bharat Jodo Yatra, which began on 7 September from Kanyakumari to Kashmir.

Talking about Bharat Jodo Yatra Rahul said, “Those who participated in the yatra suffered blisters in their feet, and two of them sadly their lives as well. However, the march did not stop,”

Moreover, Rahul Gandhi along with all the party MPs, leaders, and workers are staying in containers in which ACs, toilets, and sleeping beds are also installed. Keeping in view the intense heat and humidity with the change of places the container has been made.

However, in some past polls, Congress suffered a debacle and this Yatra is to increase the party rank for the upcoming electoral battles.

Furthermore, the assembly elections in Gujarat will take place on 1 December and 5 December and the counting of the votes will take place on 8 December.
