Puja Khedkar, a trainee IAS official who has been accused of abusing her authority as a bureaucrat, failed to report to the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie on time. Puja Khedkar was expected to attend the trainee IAS academy on Tuesday but failed to do so.
Puja Khedkar is claimed to be ‘out of reach’ after the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) launched a criminal action against her for “misrepresenting and falsifying facts” on her civil service application. Khedkar’s phone is apparently turned off, and she is no longer in contact with the civil services.
The 34-year-old trainee IAS officer from the 2023 batch reportedly forged documents to appear for the UPSC exam numerous times. UPSC issued a show cause notice to Khedkar, canceling her selection and perhaps preventing her from sitting the civil services test again.
She was supposed to report to the IAS training academy on July 23 but did not show up without warning. The Delhi Police has now filed a complaint against the trainee IAS official, and the investigation is underway.
