PUBG has become the top Twitter trend globally after India banned the mobile video game on Wednesday along with 117 other Chinese apps amid ongoing standoff with China in eastern Ladakh.
After the government’s decision to ban the game, which ranks among top five smartphone games in the world with over 734 million downloads, Twitter has been flooded with reactions as well memes.
In June, India had banned 59 mobile apps including TikTok, UC Browser and WeChat, also citing security concerns.
