Priyanka Gandhi Hits Back at PM Modi, BJP

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior BJP figures, alleging that their relentless attacks on the Congress stem from frustration due to the unfavorable turn of events in the Lok Sabha elections. She accused them of resorting to deceit, manipulation, and fearmongering tactics instead of addressing real issues affecting the people, such as rising prices and unemployment.

She highlighted that if the BJP had genuinely worked towards improving the lives of citizens by addressing pressing concerns like education and healthcare, the current discourse would be different. Priyanka Gandhi suggested that the BJP’s behavior indicates their apprehension about the election outcome and their resort to misleading tactics. She also questioned the BJP’s vision for the future and its track record in addressing key issues affecting the common man, such as unemployment and inflation.

Furthermore, she defended her family against personal attacks, emphasizing their contributions to the nation. She refuted allegations of “parivarvad” (dynasty politics) and asserted that every family has dignity and principles worth defending. Priyanka Gandhi also responded to PM Modi’s remarks about the Congress wanting to confiscate women’s “mangalsutra” as part of wealth redistribution, stating that such claims were baseless and aimed at instilling fear among voters.

She highlighted instances where women sacrificed for the nation and criticized PM Modi’s handling of issues like demonetization, COVID-19 lockdown, and the farmers’ protests. Additionally, she dismissed PM Modi’s accusations about wealth redistribution and alleged connections to urban Naxals, terming them unfounded. Overall, Priyanka Gandhi’s statements underscored her criticism of the BJP’s campaign tactics and defended the Congress’ agenda and legacy.
