A woman tragically died after falling from the third floor of the Globe State Building in Dombivali, 30 km from Mumbai, while joking around with her friends.
The victim, Nagina Devi Manjiram, was captured by CCTV cameras as she fell from the building, prompting an immediate police response. The Manapada Police have registered an accidental death report (ADR) and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
According to the first investigation, the disaster happened yesterday while Nagina Devi was socializing with her friends on the third level of the building. The video shows one of her companions narrowly escape the same destiny, owing to the rapid reflexes of onlookers who were able to pull him to safety.
Nagina Devi, known to her acquaintances as Gudiya Devi, worked as a janitor in the building. Her sudden death has left her family, including a son and a daughter, devastated.
