Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his warmest wishes to everyone involved in the 35th Australian Sikh Games held in Brisbane by the Australian National Sikh Sports and Cultural Council. The 35th Australian Australian Sikh Games will be held in Australia from April 7-9. PM Modi said in his greeting for the games, “It is a pleasure to learn about the 35th Australian Sikh Games, which will be held in Brisbane by the Australian National Sikh Sports and Cultural Council. Greetings and best wishes to everyone involved with the Games.”
PM Modi stated that the Sikh Gurus guided India and the globe with many eternal and timeless values. If one looks closely at the lives and teachings of the holy Gurus, they emphasized the importance of physical health as well as spiritual growth. Furthermore, the holy Gurus conveyed the concept of bringing individuals from various areas of society together as a team to achieve progress.
PM Modi emphasized in his message that these ideas are relevant in sports, where people join together to compete on an equal playing field regardless of their social background. He stated that the Sikh community is very active in sports, teamwork, and fitness.
“It is in this context that the 35th Australian Sikh Games take on added significance. The organization of these games will allow the Sikh community to showcase its sporting abilities, competitive spirit, and teamwork on a larger stage.
