PM Modi Turns 74: BJP, NDA Leaders Extend Birthday Wishes

Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 74 on Tuesday, with prominent BJP and NDA leaders offering birthday wishes and commending his leadership.

President Droupadi Murmu conveyed warm birthday wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, praising his “extraordinary leadership” that has enhanced “the prosperity and prestige of the country.” She expressed her hope that his “nation-first” approach and innovative efforts would lead India toward becoming a developed nation. “I pray to God that you live long and always remain healthy and happy,” President Murmu added.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed his heartfelt greetings, praising Modi for his dedication and hard work in improving the lives of Indian citizens. Shah stated, “I pray to God for your healthy and long life.”

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, in his message, described Modi as a “successful Prime Minister” who has provided strong and visionary leadership. He emphasized that both India and the world have witnessed Modi’s preparedness and focus in leading the nation.

BJP President JP Nadda also extended his best wishes, describing Modi’s leadership as a source of inspiration for millions of BJP workers. He commended Modi’s dedication to serving the nation and uplifting the people.

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha referred to Modi as the “great son of Maa Bharati,” praising his vision for a prosperous India and his leadership in transforming the country.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde echoed similar sentiments, highlighting Modi’s efforts in making India an economic superpower and expressing confidence in his resolve to develop the country by 2047.

On his birthday, Modi is scheduled to visit Odisha to launch several projects, including the inauguration of 26 lakh PM Awas houses in Bhubaneswar. He will also interact with beneficiaries of the PM Awas Yojana in a slum area near Sainik School. Additionally, he will launch the Subhadra Yojana, which aims to provide financial support to one crore women, with each beneficiary receiving Rs 50,000 over five years in two annual instalments of Rs 10,000.
