PM Modi To Unveil ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Investment Summit Today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024 in Jaipur on Monday, as announced by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). The event will take place at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC).

As per the schedule, the Prime Minister will arrive at Jaipur airport in the morning and proceed to the JECC. Upon arrival, he will inaugurate the summit and take a brief tour of the exposition in Hall B.

Following this, the Prime Minister will head to the Inaugural Hall (Hall A), where Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will present him with a souvenir. A children’s choir will welcome the Prime Minister, after which the Chief Minister will address the audience, and the Rising Rajasthan film will be screened.

The summit will feature addresses by prominent industrial leaders, including Mukesh Ambani, Anil Agarwal, Anand Mahindra, Kumar Mangalam, and Karan Adani. The event will conclude with a special address by Prime Minister Modi.

After the Jaipur event, PM Modi will travel to Panipat, Haryana, to launch the Bima Sakhi Yojana in collaboration with the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). This initiative aims to empower women aged 18-70 years who have passed Class X by training them to become LIC agents. These women will receive a stipend for the first three years to promote financial literacy and awareness, with opportunities to later qualify as LIC Development Officers.

Additionally, in Panipat, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for the main campus of Maharana Pratap Horticultural University in Karnal. The 495-acre campus, with a budget of over ₹700 crore, will focus on crop diversification and advancements in horticultural technologies.
