PM Modi to Inaugurate Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to grace the inauguration ceremony of the ‘Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit 2023’ in Dehradun on Friday, as confirmed by an official release from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

The prestigious event, scheduled at the Forest Research Institute in Dehradun, aims to position Uttarakhand as a burgeoning investment hub under the theme “Peace to Prosperity.” Prime Minister Modi is slated to address the gathering, which will comprise thousands of investors, dignitaries, including union ministers, ambassadors from various nations, and industry leaders.

Ahead of the summit, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami highlighted the state’s remarkable law and order situation, labeling it one of the safest states in the country for investment. Dhami expressed pride in securing investment proposals exceeding ₹2 lakh crore and emphasized the state government’s steadfast focus on job creation.

Dhami, during the Social Media Influencers Meet, urged for widespread dissemination of the event’s significance nationally and globally, aiming to trend ‘Destination Uttarakhand, Global Investors Summit’ across various platforms.

Scheduled for December 8–9, the two-day summit anticipates the participation of over 5,000 delegates from the national and international spheres. It’s poised to showcase Uttarakhand’s investor-friendly policies, governance initiatives, and sustainable practices across 15-plus sectors.

The Summit plans to facilitate B2B and G2B meetings, promoting collaborative opportunities and aiding investors in informed decision-making. Exhibitors and organizations are set to exhibit avant-garde technologies and trends, while sectoral sessions will engage in comprehensive discussions on industry challenges and opportunities.

The Uttarakhand Government’s Summit endeavors to propel the state onto the global investment map, foster strategic partnerships, and forge a path toward sustainable economic growth.
