PM Modi Slams Opposition Over ‘Mohabbat ki Dukaan’ Fake Videos

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to condemn the opposition for disseminating fake videos, accusing the Congress party of resorting to artificial intelligence to produce misleading content. Modi asserted that these deceptive videos, sold through their platform “Mohabbat ki dukaan,” are a reflection of the opposition’s anxiety about the upcoming elections.

He expressed frustration with the continuous onslaught of false accusations, including claims that he plans to abolish the Constitution and revoke reservations, urging the public to question the credibility of such allegations. Additionally, Modi highlighted the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) strong representation of members from marginalized communities, emphasizing their commitment to inclusive governance.

Nowadays, they’re creating fake videos using fake intelligence. They’re selling these videos in their ‘Mohabbat ki dukaan’. They’re making fun videos using Modi’s voice and speeches. At a rally in Dharashiv, Modi said, “Congress is very scared of losing.” The prime minister also said he’s working hard to make people’s lives better across the country.

Modi works all the time to make your lives better. But the INDI alliance is trying hard to change Modi instead. He said, “I want to improve your lives, but they want to change me.” Modi also criticized the Congress, saying they have always let down Marathwada. He questioned if a country can become strong with a weak government and if India can progress under Congress. Modi accused Congress of betrayal, stating they have disappointed Maharashtra. He claimed that even though Congress ruled for sixty years, they couldn’t provide water to farmers’ fields in the state.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said today that Prime Minister Modi should avoid speaking harshly, especially during elections. He mentioned that the BJP is skilled at making fake videos and using social media to discredit people. Kharge emphasized that Congress doesn’t want to ruin anyone’s reputation and just wants unity and cooperation in the nation. He criticized Modi for using hate speech, especially during elections, and urged him to speak more calmly. Kharge requested everyone to be patient and avoid speaking angrily.

After Reetom Singh was arrested by the Assam Police on Monday, it was the first time someone was taken into custody regarding the altered video of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The video was reportedly shared by Congress leaders on social media and became widely circulated. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) lodged a complaint about the video, which caused controversy and allegations of distortion. The MHA is taking steps to take action against the people responsible for making the video.
