Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday intensified his attack on Pakistan, reiterating India’s strong stance on national security while referring to a big cross-border strike.
Addressing a public rally in Dhar, Modi announced, “The country gives the highest importance to the security of Mother India. Pakistani terrorists have taken away the Sindoor of our sisters and daughters. We conducted Operation Sindoor and eliminated terror camps. Our brave security forces brought Pakistan to its knees within the blink of an eye.”
The Prime Minister also spoke about a recent confessional statement from the other side. “Yesterday, the country and the world saw another Pakistani terrorist crying while recounting his experience. It’s a new India. It doesn’t fear anyone’s nuclear threats… Ghar mein ghus ke maarta hai (it goes inside the enemy’s house and kills),” he continued. Modi didn’t name any group.

His statement came after a video of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) commander Masood Ilyas Kashmiri was circulated. In the video, which has gone viral on social networking sites, Kashmiri narrates the May 7 attack conducted under Operation Sindoor.
“Embracing terrorism, we fought Delhi, Kabul and Kandahar to protect the borders of this country. After giving up everything, on May 7, the family of Maulana Masood Azhar was separated by Indian troops in Bahawalpur,” he says in Urdu, surrounded by men carrying guns.
The Daily Guardian could not verify independently if the video is genuine.

Operation Sindoor was a concerted attack initiated in retaliation for the April 22 terror attack at Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in which 26 civilians, including several tourists, were killed. Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force units attacked nine terror camps on May 7, striking major Jaish-e-Mohammad, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen strongholds in Bahawalpur, Kotli, and Muridke.
The unusual acknowledgement by a top JeM commander has been considered as strong evidence of the operation’s success, highlighting India’s capability to target terror groups deep within Pakistani soil.
