PM Modi expected to hand over 71,000 offer letters next week

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to hand over around 71,000 appointment letters next week. The event is scheduled for 13 April, and appointment letters will be distributed at 45 locations across all states except Karnataka, where the Model Code of Conduct is in force.

According to information, a major number of appointment letters will be from the railroads 50,000, posts 6,000, the Department of Financial Services, and the Ministry of Defence. It is being said that most of the new recruitment in the railways will be for Group-C services, and these include gangmen and pointsmen. Appointment letters will also be handed over to the new commercial clerks.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has so far presided over the job fairs, which are part of the government’s announcement to provide 10 lakh jobs before the next Lok Sabha elections in 2024.

Recently, the Ministry of Railways informed the Lok Sabha that there are 3.15 lakh vacancies, and most of them are in Group-C services. In a written reply to a question, it also informed the lower house that it has set a target to complete the recruitment of around 38,000 people for Group C services by the end of March 2023.
