In Varanasi, PM Modi hailed Operation Sindoor’s success as a vow fulfilled with Mahadev’s blessings and inaugurated Rs. 2,183 crore worth of development projects.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his visit to his home constituency Varanasi on Saturday, dedicated the success of India’s retaliatory action, ‘Operation Sindoor,’ to Lord Mahadev, calling it a fulfilled vow made in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack.
The Prime Minister referred to the recent terrorist strike in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam where 26 people were brutally killed by Pakistani terrorists, as one of the most painful incidents in recent times. The attack, he said, deeply affected him, especially thinking of the women who lost their loved ones.
“I had vowed to avenge the sindoor of my daughters,” Modi declared emotionally during his address. “With the blessings of Mahadev, that promise has now been fulfilled.”
Opening his speech in the local dialect, Modi said, "Hum Kaashi ke har parivar-jan ke pranaam karat hai (I extend my respectful greetings to every family of Varanasi)," a gesture that drew loud cheers from the audience.
PM Modi addressed the success of 'Operation Sindoor', saying that it was more than a strategic move, it was also a personal commitment fulfilled. He further stated that the mission's success is an outcome of Lord Mahadev's blessings.
