Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded to Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Shakti’ remark on Monday, expressing his readiness to sacrifice for ‘Shakti’. Speaking at a rally in Jagtial, he acknowledged the honor of receiving blessings and support from Nari Shakti, referring to women’s empowerment.
PM Modi countered the INDI alliance’s manifesto, which mentioned fighting against ‘Shakti’, by stating that he reveres every woman as ‘Shakti’, considering them embodiments of strength. He emphasized his reverence for Bharat Mata and accepted the challenge posed by those aiming to undermine ‘Shakti’, declaring, “‘I am ready to stake my life'”.
Highlighting the Chandrayaan mission’s success, PM Modi mentioned naming the landing point ‘Shiv Shakti’, asserting the importance of celebrating and worshiping ‘Shakti’. He framed the upcoming electoral contest as a clash between those seeking to destroy ‘Shakti’ and those who venerate it, suggesting a decisive showdown on June 4.
PM Modi contrasted the perspectives of those who talk about undermining power with those who revere ‘Shakti’. Rahul Gandhi’s remarks in Maharashtra on Sunday expressed concerns about Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) operations, using ‘Shakti’ to symbolize the opposition’s struggle against state authority.
Rahul Gandhi questioned the essence of ‘Shakti’ and its implications, alleging compromises made by key institutions like the ED, CBI, and Income Tax department to the central government. He voiced these concerns during an address in Mumbai.
