Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to meditate at Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanniyakumari, Tamil Nadu, holds significant symbolism as he concludes the BJP’s Lok Sabha election campaign for 2024. Swami Vivekananda’s historic swim from the shores of Kanniyakumari to the islet, where he meditated for three days in 1892, has deep spiritual significance. Following in his footsteps, PM Modi will spend time in meditation from May 30 to June 1, marking the end of the BJP’s election campaign.

Despite opposition from the ruling DMK, citing election model code of conduct and tourist season concerns, PM Modi’s spiritual sojourn is poised to mark a moment of introspection and symbolism as the nation awaits the results of the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections.
