People need PM Modi for next five years: Annamalai

Tamil Nadu BJP leader K. Annamalai has been busy with his padyatra across the state and emphasising to the people that they need Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the next five years (2024 to 2029) for the welfare of their children.

Annamalai stated at the gathering, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi took first five years (2014-19) for poor and downtrodden people’s welfare and the next five years (2019-24) to build the nation’s infrastructure and development. We need him for the next five years (2024-29) for the welfare of our young children and their well-being.”

Meanwhile, on October 18, BJP’s Tejasvi Surya had posted on X (formerly Twitter) that this year the DMK government in Tamil Nadu and the Congress government in Karnataka had both prohibited the use of “flowers, kumkuma, turmeric and other puja essentials at Government offices during Ayudha Puja”. He wrote that these governments were now were targeting this cultural ritual.

Surya wrote, “2 states. 2 GOs. One target – Ayudha Puja. There may be hundred differences between I.N.D.I.A bloc parties, but they are united in their hatred and contempt for the indigenous culture of this land.

DMK Govt in TN & Congress Govt in Karnataka have both issued GOs today prohibiting use of flowers, kumkuma, turmeric and other puja essentials at Govt offices during Ayudha Puja. For years, all Govt offices and employees in southern India observe Ayudha Puja with great fervour. The alliance has now set its target on this important cultural ritual.”

In response to Surya’s post, Annamalai wrote on X, “To be in the I.N.D.I.A bloc, the parties need to have the following qualities. 1. Be Corrupt 2. Be a 2G, 3G, 4G Dynast 3. Should glorify Mughals & British Colonisers. 4. Hate Sanatana Dharma. This is the common thread that binds them & the people of our country will hand them defeat for constantly spewing hatred on our nation’s rich culture & heritage!”

DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin had come under fire recently for calling for the eradication of Sanatana Dharma and a case was filed against him by the Hindu Munnani Katchi.
