Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Pawan Kalyan, fulfilled his promise to the devotees of Sri Trikoteswara Swamy at Kotappakonda. He inaugurated the new road constructed between Kotappakonda and Kothapalem villages with funds from the Panchayat Raj department, making it accessible to the public. On Thursday, after visiting the Kotappakonda temple, he unveiled the plaque at the Shiva Stupa located at the foot of the hill. He then inspected the quality of the road by walking on it. This new road, spanning 8 kilometers, was constructed with funds amounting to Rs. 3.9 crores. During the last Assembly sessions, local MLA Dr. Arvind Babu had submitted a petition to Pawan Kalyan requesting the construction of this road for the convenience of the devotees.
The Deputy Chief Minister had promised to complete the road before the Shivaratri festival. With the construction of this road between Kotappakonda and Kothapalem, the travel difficulties of approximately 1.5 lakh devotees attending the Shivaratri festival will be resolved. The problems faced by farmers in the Kothapalem village area and students going to the Gonepudi school will also be alleviated.
On the occasion of the road inauguration, students from Gonepudi school met Mr. Pawan Kalyan and thanked him for providing the road facility.
