Parties attending vs parties boycotting

The upcoming grand inauguration of the new Parliament is set to witness the presence of several significant political parties. Among them, the ruling Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) will be led by President J.P Nadda, showcasing their majority in the government. The Shiv Sena, with the Eknath Shinde faction led by Eknath Shinde, is expected to participate in the event, highlighting their alliance with the ruling coalition. Meanwhile, the opposition parties are expected to make a powerful statement by boycotting the ceremony. The Indian National Congress (INC), led by President Mallikarjun Kharge, is set to prominently express their dissent. Mamata Banerjee, the fiery leader of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), is also expected to boycott the event, drawing attention with her strong stance against the ruling party. The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) is set to be represented by its president, M.K Stalin, as they stand united in their decision to abstain from the inauguration.
