A part of Jaipur’s historic Amer Fort’s wall collapsed due to heavy rainfall on Saturday, as reported by the PTI.
PTI shared a video which shows a 200-foot-long wall crashing down, leaving a trail of debris behind. The footage showcases water gushing down the ancient structure as the wall fell down due to the pressure caused by the downpour.
The incident underlines the impact of heavy monsoon rains on one of Rajasthan’s most cherished and iconic heritage sites. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
