Parliament: Lok Sabha Session Adjourned Until Noon
Lok Sabha Session Adjourned Until Noon
The Lok Sabha session was adjourned until noon after Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi brought up the NEET issue, demanding that it be discussed along with other Opposition MPs. Speaker Om Birla, however, maintained that the discussion on the Motion of Thanks to the President’s Address should be prioritized.
Gandhi stated, “…We wanted to give a joint message to the students of India, on behalf of Opposition and Government – that we consider this an important issue. So, we thought that to respect students we will have discussion on NEET today, a dedicated discussion…”
