Three people died after falling into a tanker filled with chemical water under suspicious circumstances at Blanket Factory Gorja International Private Limited near village Jalalpur in Panipat district. The bodies of all three were found badly burnt. The deceased have been identified as Qurban and Islam, residents of village Raslapur and Suresh of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Qurban and Islam used to drive tractors in the factory. While Suresh worked as a chemical fitter. The relatives created a ruckus by alleging murder. As soon as this was found out, ASP Mayank Mishra reached the spot with heavy police force and talked to the family members. It is alleged that to destroy the evidence, the factory owner even got the cameras uprooted.

As soon as information about the tragic incident in the factory was received, police, ambulance and fire brigade reached the spot. The fire brigade personnel took all three out of the tanker by spraying a chemical that neutralized the gas. He was hurriedly brought to the civil hospital. Where the doctor declared all three of them dead.

At the same time, the police started further action. The incident reportedly occurred late at night but was detected around three in the morning. The factory in question is operated jointly by several partners. The tanker involved, in which the three employees were found fallen, belongs to CTPT. This tanker is used to collect water containing chemicals.

Qurban and Islam were uncle and nephew & residents of village Raslapur and Suresh of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. Both of them used to fill chemical water from the industry in a tractor, which they would then release into the drain while driving the former sarpanch’s tractor.

Whereas, Suresh was an electric fitter in the factory. Preliminary information has revealed that Islam and Qurban died due to gas inhalation. Suresh, who came to save them, also fell into the chemical tanker and all three lost their lives.

When the bodies of the three were found, their relatives also reached there. They allege that after murder, they were thrown into a tanker containing water laced with chemicals. Relatives say that there are injury marks on his mouth, head and other places on his body.

The cameras in the factory were also switched off and taken down. ASP Mayank Mishra says that the bodies of all three have been kept in the civil hospital of Panipat. Further action will be taken on the basis of the report that comes after the post-mortem. If the factory owner is found guilty then action will be taken against him.
