Doda Encounter : Terrorist Injured, M4 Rifle Seized; Army Officer Critically Hurt

Jammu, August 14: An encounter in the Akar Forest area of Doda district has resulted in one terrorist being injured, the recovery of an M4 rifle, and serious injuries to an Indian Army officer.

The Encounter, which began yesterday, followed specific intelligence about the movement of terrorist in the region. During the ongoing operation, evidence of blood stains suggests that a terrorist has been wounded. Security forces have also recovered an M4 rifle from the site. Four to Five terrorist are believed to be trapped in the area.

In addition to the terrorists injury, an Army officer leading the search party in the Asar Forest has sustained serious injuries. The operation is still underway as security forces continue their efforts to apprehend the remaining Terrorist .
