LEH/JAMMU, July 10: Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General M V Suchindra Kumar visited forward areas along the Line of Control (LoC) in Ladakh on Wednesday, urging troops to remain prepared for future challenges.
During his visit, Lieutenant General Kumar also paid homage to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives during Operation Vijay at the Kargil War Memorial in Drass.
“Lieutenant General M V Suchindra Kumar, Army Commander Northern Command, accompanied by GOC Fire and Fury Corps, visited units deployed along the Line of Control and reviewed the operational preparedness of the ‘Forever in Operations’ division,” the Northern Command posted on X (formerly Twitter).
The Army Commander commended the troops for their high standards of professionalism and encouraged them to be vigilant and ready for any forthcoming challenges.
Lieutenant General Kumar also interacted with formation commanders and jawans during his visit to Batalik in the Kargil sector, emphasizing the importance of their role in maintaining security and operational readiness in the region.
