Nitish Kumar Tears Into INDIA Bloc, Says They Never Worked For Nation

Days after the Lok Sabha election results, Janata Dal-United (JDU) Chief Nitish Kumar criticized the opposition INDIA bloc, stating that they never worked for the country. Speaking at the parliamentary meeting of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the national capital, Kumar expressed confidence in the progress of the country under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.

“When you come next time, those who have won this time will lose. I’m confident about it. They never worked for the nation. They never served the country. The country will progress under your (PM Modi) leadership,” Kumar remarked, eliciting laughter from Prime Minister Modi and other leaders present.

Kumar affirmed his support for PM Modi, stating, “All the pending works of Bihar will be done. It is a very good thing that all of us have come together, and we will all work together under your leadership… Whenever you take the oath, we will be with you.”

The newly elected MPs of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) attended the meeting, which took place after the Lok Sabha election results were announced. The BJP and its allies secured 293 seats, with Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP and Nitish Kumar’s JDU winning 16 and 12 seats, respectively.

Earlier, NDA leaders elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi as their leader, with PM Modi expressing the alliance’s commitment to building a developed India. The INDIA bloc has 234 MPs in the new parliament, while the Congress won 99 seats.
