“Never Seen a Shameless Person Like Kejriwal, Who Doesn’t Resign Even After Going To Jail”: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, labeling him as “shameless” for not resigning after being jailed. Shah’s official Twitter handle targeted Kejriwal, quoting the Home Minister as expressing disbelief at Kejriwal’s refusal to step down despite his incarceration.

Addressing a public rally in South Delhi in support of BJP candidate Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, Shah asserted the BJP’s confidence in winning all seven seats in Delhi. He taunted Kejriwal, suggesting that the Chief Minister was clinging to his position through adhesive means and warned that the BJP’s victory would unseat him.

Shah sarcastically referred to the Delhi government as a “3G government,” implying that it was characterized by scams, bribery, and fraud. He criticized Kejriwal’s perceived shift from claiming honesty to engaging in dishonest practices.

Highlighting various alleged scams under the Kejriwal government, including those related to liquor, water board, classroom construction, fake medicine, lab X-ray, panic button in vehicles, bus purchases, and Sheeshmahal, Shah accused Kejriwal of corruption and negligence.

Shah also pointed out that while investigations into some scams were ongoing, Kejriwal had been arrested in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy case, linked to a money laundering investigation. Although Kejriwal received interim bail from the Supreme Court until June 1, Shah’s criticism underscored the ongoing legal challenges faced by the Delhi Chief Minister.
