NEET-UG 2024: 3 Doctors From AIIMS Patna Apprehended

In a significant related to the NEET-UG 2024 paper leak investigation, three doctors of AIIMS Patna have been detained for their connection with the paper solver gang.

These resident doctors have been apprehended as a part of CBI’s investigation into discrepancies present in NEET-UG 2024.

According to News18’s source, they were allegedly to be part of the group, that cleared the paper for the candidates.

Furthermore, the CBI has taken three doctors into custody and is currently interrogating them about their connection with the gang. Which solved the paper.

As per the source, they are currently probing, whether solved paper was given to the beneficiaries only or it reached others as well.

Moreover, they also revealed that CBI has taken their mobile phones & laptops away. In addition, their hostel room has also been closed.

Yesterday on July 17, CBI has also detained two other accused including the one who stole the paper from NTA’s trunk in Jharkhand’s Hazaribagh.

The culprit has been identified as Pankaj Kumar alias Aditya, who belonged to the 2017 batch of Jamshedpur’s national institute of technology. He apparently stole the NEET-UG paper from NTA trunk at Hazaribagh.

The central agency has also managed to detain another culprit named Raju Singh, who aided Kumar, in stealing the paper. He was also arrested from Jharkhand’s Hazaribagh.

Interestingly as per earlier reports, there were irregularities present in the trunk, through which the question papers reached the Hazaribagh’s Oasis School.
