NEET PG 2025: Exam Tomorrow, Reporting Time & Key Instructions

NEET PG 2025 on August 3: single shift from 9 AM–12:30 PM. Gate closes at 8:30 AM. Carry admit card, ID, registration; no electronics allowed.

NEET PG is a national-level entrance exam in India for admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses in medical colleges across the country.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, NBEMS is set to conduct the NEET PG examination 2025 on Sunday, August 3, 2025. The examination will be conducted in a single shift from 9 AM to 12:30 PM. It should be noted that on July 31, 2025, the NEET PG Admit Card 2025 was made available. There will be 200 multiple-choice questions on the test, each with four possible answers. Candidates must choose one of the four options as the best, most appropriate, or correct solution.

Besides, the NEET PG question paper will be divided into five-time bound sections, namely Group A, B, C, D & E The questions from subjects of MBBS curriculum will be distributed across these five sections of 40 questions each.

Reporting Time & Exam Schedule

The NEET PG 2025 exam will be held on Sunday, 3rd August 2025, in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, across the country. Candidates should report early since the entry gates will be closed by 8:30 AM – those who arrive before the reporting time, that is, between 7:00 and 8:30 AM, would be less likely to face any last-minute hassles. Candidate login will begin after the gates are closed at 8:45 AM, and the exam will begin on time at 9 AM.

The perfect timing makes smooth operations for biometric verification, identification and seating before proceeding for the test. NBEMS states that tattooing fingers with henna/colours is to be avoided.

Essential Documents & Restricted Items

Ensure that you carry the colored printed admit card (two pages printed on a single A4 sheet) along with the photograph pasted as given, and a government ID such as Aadhaar, PAN, passport, or voter ID.

The original SMC/MCI/NMC registration certificate must also be carried, along with PwD/scribe authorization documents, wherever applicable. 

The following items are strictly prohibited:

  • Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators and other electronic devices.
  • Jewelry such as earrings, rings and chains.
  • Bags, wallets, belts, caps or any paper-related item like pens, pads and rough pages. 

All food items and water are prohibited except for diabetic or pregnant candidates, who may carry a little quantity of simple sugar or snack in a transparent pouch with a medical certificate as proof.
